Dr Bayley MB BS FRANZCP is a specialist medical practitioner in the field of psychiatry, providing treatment for adults.
She completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland and undertook psychiatry training in Queensland in a variety of settings, including public mental health clinics and in-patient units. Dr Bayley has been working in Cairns since 1998, in both public mental health and private psychiatry practice.
Dr Bayley has a special interest in:
Women’s mental health including perinatal disorders;
Mental health disorders relating to physical ill health;
Eating Disorders;
Mental health disorders in old age, and
Medico-legal reports.
Dr Bayley is an experienced psychiatrist who is a skilled assessor of people’s problems. She utilises a combination of medication and psychological interventions to promote good mental health. Management plans are personalised according to each patients needs and will be developed in collaboration with the individual.
