Inner Aura see's the beauty in everyone and provides strength based approaches to help people achieve their goals, overcome challenges, form relationships and try new things.
Providing services to Participants from 15+, from Cooktown- Townsville inclusive of the tablelands.
Services provided: 1:1 tailored and small group respite.
🟧 Living it up program (capacity building independent living program) ages 15+
Service areas: Innisfail- Mossman inclusive of the tablelands. Including pick up and drop offs to programs, all services are 1:3 ratios,(higher supports in groups can be arranged if required)
Areas of support: 1:1 support
Group activities:
Young guns programs 9-18 year olds:
Week 1, 9-14 year olds, week 2, 15-19 year olds
Wednesday and Thursdays art and social activities 3-6 pm
Monthly Saturdays- 9-4 pm, social outings. 9-18 years old.
Gamers nights- 15-25 year olds, runs monthly on a friday evening from 5-10 pm.
🟧 18+
The hangout hub- various programs from Tuesday- Friday 8:30- 3:30 pm 18+
Social Saturdays: various activities out and about on a Saturday night.
Movie club- once a month on a Sunday. 9-4 pm
Inner Artist- once a month on a Sunday. 9-4 pm
Male only pool comp- Thursday nights from 5-9 pm 18+
Ladies dinner and dancing- Thursday nights from 5-9 pm. 18+
Life skills program- for participants who are wanting to increase their independence and ADLS,- Tuesday- Fridays (includes overnights)
🟧Respite: 1:2 ratio respite house in Cairns- Friday- Monday with both under 18 and over 18 weekends.
🟧Inner adventurer- Supported interstate travel in groups (out of pocket costs include meals, accommodation activities and travel split between the group)
