We are excited to share our cooking classes designed for individuals with disabilities, where we embark on a journey of cooking skills, building independence and confidence.
All ages are welcome to our weekly class. We start with shopping together, then we will cook up a storm and finally we will gather together around the table to share not just meal but stories, laugh, and the spirit of togetherness.
Come join us, where every recipe is a step towards EMPOWERMENT. Classes are kept small - up to 8 participants and will be held at Eat Real Cairns. 2-32 Behan st, Cairns North. (Tiger football). Every Saturday (starting from 9/3) , different recipe, 9am-1pm. Don't hesitate to PM for any inquiry
I worked with variety of people with disability such as intellectual impairment, ADHD brain injury, lost memory, physical disability, non-verbal children etc.
I know how to handle hoist as well. Happy to provide references. I have my blue and yellow card, police check and first aid cert. I'm very reliable and honest.
Would love to do some activities out and about, cooking seasons, life skills, some exercises, and even just to have a small talk. Happy to shower and feed if needed. Know how to work with a stroller and wheel chair as well. Feel free to ask any questions.
