Queenslanders with Disability Network is a state-wide not-for-profit executive peak body organisation for and led by people with diverse disability.
All our work is focused on disability rights and systemic advocacy.
QDN’s work is centred around a strong network of people across Queensland and peer support groups which inform, connect, lead, and influence change.
We are a vibrant, active network of influencers, decision-makers, spokespeople, consultants, group members and peer leaders with a drive to make change happen.
We believe there should be ‘Nothing about us without us.’
We work on projects that align with our vision and mission around important issues in the lives of people with disability.
We believe in co-design to work together with communities, services, business, industry and government to lead and influence change.
QDN encourages members to build their skills and become Peer Leaders within the member network.
We host regular Peer Support Groups for people with disability across the state including the first Wednesday monthly in Cairns. These groups are convened by people with disability.
QDN is a not-for-profit organisation.
