Wuchopperen began providing health services in 1981 and has primary health care facilities in Manoora and Edmonton and a child wellbeing service in Atherton.

We are originally from Cairns. My husband is Yidinji, my daughters are Kuku-Yalanji and Irukandji as well as Torres Strait Islanders. I am a proud Ugar and Erub Torres Strait Islander woman.
We are a private independent Company and formed through our own lived experience. The Founder and the directors have worked collaboratively in Government and Service delivery in Australian Public Service roles, Employment Providing including Recruitment, and Management Positions which make for an elite skill set.
We are also a registered Carers Gateway company. We are focused on dual support being mental health recovery through person centred oriented practices as well as Disability Support.
Currently I offer Psychosocial Recovery Coaching via TeleHealth sessions for the Cairns region.

The Whole Child brings together a team of experienced and passionate paediatric occupational therapists who are committed to building strong connections with the children they work with and their families. The team has a unique approach that considers a holistic view incorporating development, learning, play, sensory processing, social relationships and emotional wellbeing.
The Whole Child stands on the bridge between the medical, educational and natural health models, and consultations regarding GAPS (Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome) are also available within the OT service.

Sky Therapy provides compassionate, culturally aware, and client-centred mental health and therapeutic services. Founded by Zane, an accredited Mental Health Social Worker and supported by Emma, a skilled Behaviour Specialist, the practice brings over 20 years of expertise in family therapy, trauma, addiction, mental health, grief, and loss.
The team also includes Brodi, a psychology graduate, qualified personal trainer, and sports coach with extensive experience supporting young people from diverse backgrounds. Brodi specialises in creating tailored fitness and sports programs that foster self-awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being, integrating physical activity into holistic mental health care.
Sky Therapy focuses on early intervention for children and families while also assisting individuals facing complex life challenges. Committed to cultural safety and connection—particularly in Indigenous and remote Far North Queensland communities—the practice delivers personalised, evidence-based care. By incorporating approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and physical activity through sport, Sky Therapy fosters sustainable growth, positive behavioural change, and holistic well-being for clients of all backgrounds.

Xtremecare Australia (XCA) is a NDIS Registered Provider specialising in delivering NDIS supports to First Nations People. We are experts in Support Coordination and Plan Management services, with a prominent focus on remote regions. We understand the importance of delivering a culturally safe and competent service to ensure fair and equitable access to all.
We understand the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural practices, traditions, and protocols within the various communities. Xtremecare is committed to ensuring that our service is tailored to each individual and community’s needs.
We aim to build up the capacity of participants and communities to empower them to deliver NDIS services in their community, which will create long term sustainability in the future.
