Children's health and physical education classes across Cairns and the Far North.
FitKidz is a great option for children who may not be interested in team or competitive sports, It is also an excellent addition to the routine of children who play sports.
Classes are run at NLTA on Saturday morning in line with school terms.

Our missing is to open the wonder of SCUBA diving to individuals with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities and allow them to participate in underwater activities.
🔹 Training & Education - We offer a range of certification courses, based around the DDI (Disabled Divers International) protocols. The core teaching agency standards we use are SDI (Sport Divers International) and PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors).
🔹 Pool Diver - Designed for those individuals who wish to partake in SCUBA activities but cannot or do not wish to venture into the open ocean.
🔹 Snorkel Diver - Designed for those individuals who wish to experience the wonders of the open ocean but cannot or do not wish to dive beneath its surface.
🔹 SCUBA diver – A reduced, yet certified, SCUBA program which allows individuals to SCUBA dive beneath the surface. Certified individuals will need to dive with an appropriately trained and certified dive instructor.

We offer bespoke programs, designed around the client’s specific needs, to ensure that physical, mental, or emotional goals are clearly articulated and planned out.
Improvements are measured against a set baseline. Course durations depend entirely upon the requirements and objectives of each program.
🔹 Health & Wellbeing - We believe that a health mind and healthy nutrition improve a diver’s wellbeing and increases their enjoyment of the diving, whilst minimizing risks underwater.
An 8-week well-being program consisting of 2hrs per week, group sessions. Small groups of up to 6 people. Each session builds on the last.
The aim is to teach participants an accessible and evidence-based stress management technique together with education and life skills to achieve better mental and physical well-being.

Northern Cairns Region (For Outdoor/ Indoor Community Participation and Recreational Activities)
Results Fitness Training aims to provide the best services possible to suit any individual, with the goal to assist in increasing independence, physical and mental health and wellbeing and community engagement. Our services provide support which are suited to a broad range of physical and mental health conditions.
Personal Training Services:
Personal Training services are provided by Ryan Sciacca. Ryan holds a B. Exercise and Sport Science, and has extensive personal training and sports training experience with NDIS participants and the wider community. Ryan provides services which adopt evidence-based practices to develop effective exercise programs and interventions to improve bodily function and ability. These can be specifically tailored to participants with bodily deficits or conditions. Services also include specialized exercise plans aimed at achieving participants physical and mental wellbeing goals. This assures participants they are provided with a specific plan which suits a wide range of goals, including general health, function, fitness needs, and rehab protocols. Ryan can also tailor plans which improve fitness requirements needed to participate in a specific sport/ recreation that a participant may be involved in. Additionally, if a participant needs training services to work in conjunction with exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, or other allied health professionals, Ryan can assist in following a set out exercise plan correctly.
Personal Training services are run out of Genesis Smithfield and available from 7 am to 6 pm. Participants will be able to meet new people and make friends in a social environment if they choose to do so. Facilities are disability friendly, airconditioned, 24/7 access, and facilitate strength, cable, machine, and cardio machine equipment. Participants who do regular sessions with Results Fitness Training will be allocated a free membership and key tag, so they are able to access the facilities on their own, or with other carers if they choose to do so.
Community Participation, Indoor/ Outdoor Recreational Services:
Community Participation services are aimed to provide capacity building support which allows participants to choose outdoor/ indoor activities which benefit participants specific wants and needs, and which are suited participants abilities. Both low impact and higher impact activities are available, and plans are flexible to develop along with the participants’ needs and goals. This includes general physical and recreational activities such as bike riding, hiking, walking/ jogging, bowling, swimming, frisbee and any other physical activities participants may choose. Other options include engaging in community services, such as providing support for individuals who may want to join soccer, basketball, hockey, swimming teams or other recreational groups. Access to community participation allows for a fun and engaging mode of physical exercise, aimed at improving participants overall fitness, well-being, social skills, and community engagement.
Community Participation services are provided throughout the Cairns region, allowing participants to choose their preferred type of activity.

Aspire golf is a dedicated ALL ABILITIES golf coaching business giving lessons across Far North Queensland.
Coach Graham Bolton has specialist training and extensive experience in helping people from all parts of the disability community to learn to play golf.
This has seen people with physical and cognitive impairment be able to learn and play golf as a sport.
For those with a physical impairment Graham is able to utilise the Para-golfer wheelchair if required. This specialist piece of equipment allows people such as those with severe mobility issues, paraplegics or stroke sufferers to be able to actively learn and play golf. This can be a real game changer for those able to use the Para-golfer.
