I would like to welcome you to my home which is located out in Redlynch valley. Redlynch Valley showcases
some of the most stunning rainforest backdrops, fresh water creeks and crystal cascades that Cairns has to
offer.
During your stay I would like to help you find your perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. A day could be
spent by the pool, baking some treats, watching a movie or even using the home gym. If a bit of adventure is
what you like then exploring the Great barrier reef and local islands is only a boat ride away. Maybe a little
hike though the rainforest or hanging out at the zoo is more your thing. There is so much to do in our lovely
backyard and surrounding towns and I am happy to tailor the experience around yourself and your needs.
We welcome Plan or Self Managed participants.
I have worked in a range of roles and environments with kids with ASD from community access, residential care, school engagement, and emotional regulation with both carers and clients.
I have a passion for the ocean with a background in training and teaching, am a qualified chef, and house and care for a miniature farm of chickens, guinea pigs and birds, some of which love working in a therapeutic environment to help regulate emotions.

The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary is accessible to mobility devices but some of the pathways are slightly sloped and in other areas slightly uneven and assistance may be required. Some persons using a mobility device may need a carer or someone to assist with entry through the large plastic curtains that contain the butterflies inside the main aviary. Should you be unsure if the paths are suitable, the staff are more than happy to show your carer or family member around first if required. Please note that Accessible Toilets are located in the Public Facilities in the Park across the road from the Butterfly Sanctuary. Providing multi-day educational adventures in Far North Queensland (and in Sydney), We connect student groups to community, culture and nature with extraordinary tours.
All-Abilities Teen Camps
Our sleepover weekend camps bring together young people of different abilities. We focus on fun and making friends through active and playful activities outdoors. Our approach is to encourage teens to find common bonds while we also celebrate the qualities that make us all unique. We feel it is important to get young people off their devices and out into the natural world, where they can learn to have fun without screens. For young people looking to make connections to people and nature, this is the place!
Facilitated by an activities leader, support workers and a team nurse, our camps are well-suited for young people who may need extra support and attention, but are ready for the challenge of a multi-day adventure. As an added bonus, while the teens are having fun parents get a respite from their caring responsibilities.
You will find that your child returns home with new friends, and with a sense of independence and confidence after having stretched their comfort levels.
