Even with a disability you can still experience this amazing location as you can connect accessible flights, accessible rental vehicles and accessible Reef catamarans to take you right there. Get into the water and experience the fish life and corals! Great restaurants, nightlife, beaches, Tropical rain forests, National Parks and all available within easy reach. Short- or long-term hires are available to suit your requirements.
Locations - Wheelies Van Rentals services Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Cairns and Hobart regions with vehicles delivered to selected airports, collection points and rail stations. Home delivery is also available in most cases.
With a satellite location newly opened in Trinity Park, Sydney-based Integrity Car Sales and Rentals is excited to be serving disabled clients in the communities of Cairns and the Atherton Tablelands. As Integrity is an NDIS Service Provider, Participants can use their NDIS Core Supports (Social and Community Participation) or Assistive Technology budgets to hire purpose-built disability vehicles for short to longer term rentals – regardless of how their Plan is managed.
Our high-quality, Toyota vehicles are factory fitted as wheelchair accessible vehicles at the time they were built. Because these features are ‘designed-in,’ we believe the ride you get in our cars is far superior to typical disability vehicles, which have after-market, bolt-on modifications . . . but we will let our clients be the judge of that.
There are many reasons why a participant might require a vehicle, but some common explanations we hear, include: limited access to disability taxis; discomfort in taxis; difficulty participating in short, spontaneous excursions; medical or physical limitations of family/carers; difficulty or inability to transfer out of chair; and the inability to attend church, social clubs, or other community programs.
To learn more about how you, or your NDIS supported client can access a disability vehicle rental, ring Integrity’s NDIS Consultant, Sean McElligott on: 0422 204 749, or send an e-mail to: sean@icsar.com.au

Konnect Em Services Pty Ltd., we are a registered NDIS service provider, based in Cairns. I am excited to embark on this new journey. Although new, I have a strong team of dedicated and experienced workers who have been in the industry for quite some time who share the same passion as I.
My background is in child protection and behaviour support practice in NDIS. I have a Master’s in Social Work, Graduate Certificate in Human Services Management, and a Bachelor’s in Business – HRM.
I am originally from Papua New Guinea (PNG) and have been in cairns for the past 23 years.
In saying this, I’m proud to say that majority of my team are from PNG and are hard workers and are passionate about the helping and caring work and services they provide. They believe that it’s important to connect with the participant and truly deliver work from the heart in a consensus and collective way.
Our motto that describes the guiding principles of the company, derives from the ‘Motu’ language of Papua New Guinea; Bahetura, Baheduru, Bahavaraia.
Bahetura means ‘relationship’ – We believe it is vital to have a good relationship with the people we support. Having good relationships creates respectful friendship and connections that help to inspire positive outcomes and builds trust that allows our participants to have the confidence to count on us. We honour these qualities in our services by strongly incorporating good relationship traits of awareness, empathy, communication, dependability, accountability, and honesty.
Baheduru means ‘support’- It takes courage, faith, and confidence for one (worker) to be patient enough to provide care services for an individual in need of support to help them achieve their goals, especially in the disability sector. We believe this plays a big part in social change and growth when we deliver support services with care, integrity and congeniality that promotes equal opportunity to help build a sense of confidence in people as they cultivate a sense of belonging.
Bahavaraia means ‘success’ – We pride ourselves with the quality of services we provide in caring for our participants and successfully meeting their short and long-term goals. We do this with a holistic approach in considering their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. We promote a culturally safe and appropriate practice standards to our First Nations people and the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background people and celebrate with them the small and big wins. However, our services are tailored around a person-centred approach that promotes the client’s best interest, choice, and control on how, where and when they want to achieve the best outcomes through a collaboration effort.

About Driving Miss Daisy Tablelands
I’m Trish Degnian, the franchise owner and friendly face behind Driving Miss Daisy Tablelands. Launched locally in Atherton to service the Tablelands region, Driving Miss Daisy provides a safe, friendly and reliable companion transport service. My very recognisable blue daisy car affords easy passenger access, storage for wheelchairs, walking frames and shopping and a safe, comfortable ride.
The service stands apart from the taxis and other rideshare services. Driving Miss Daisy Tablelands provides more than transportation. As a Driving Miss Daisy franchise owner and driver I have been vetted by an Australian Police Check. I hold a current First Aid Certificate and have completed an Introduction to Dementia training. I also hold Blue and Yellow Cards and a Small Passenger Vehicle Licence giving you and your family peace of mind.
How Does Driving Miss Daisy Work?
I call myself a companion driver. I will meet someone at their door, make sure they have everything with them and help them to the Daisy car, assisting where needed.
Once at the destination, I can walk with the passenger, sit with them while they wait for their appointment and be there for them when the appointment has finished.
My service takes special care of the elderly and those living with dementia, disabilities, or restricted mobility. As well as providing transport to appointments, I can take people on social engagements/outings, scenic drives, grocery shopping or other shopping trips. If two or three friends would like to go on a special outing together, this can also be arranged.
How much does Driving Miss Daisy Cost?
We are considered to be affordable and extremely cost effective. All jobs are pre-quoted and based on time, distance travelled and the special needs of the passenger.
Pre-booking is essential. Please phone Trish on 0498 502 726 to discuss your requirements or to make a booking. Email enquiries to tablealnds@drivingmissdaisy.com.au
