Autism Connect is a free, confidential and independent national autism helpline, providing independent and expert information over phone, email and webchat.
Please note: this is not a counselling service and we do not provide healthcare referrals.
However, we can give information about accessing these services.Autism Connect advisors offer expert advice in many areas, including:

exploring autism and autistic identity
assessment and diagnosis support
school and education
the NDIS
transition to employment
behaviour and communication strategies
referrals to services peer support connections,
finding autism-friendly places and events, and
making environments accessible.

Phone Lines


PLEASE remember to always reach out to friends and family (cyber or not), or call Lifeline (13 11 14) or find a similar service if at any point you feel you can’t cope. Always remember (even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time) that you are loved and valued and things will get better.

Carer Gateway Counselling Service 
The Carer Gateway Counselling Service is a free service for carers. Each weekday, from 8am to 6pm, our professional counsellors are waiting to talk through the concerns you have and how you feel about your carer role.
