Tourette’s Support Group Cairns
This support group has been set up to bring together people who are going through or have gone through similar experiences and provides an opportunity for people to share personal experiences and feelings, coping strategies, or firsthand information about Tourette’s syndrome.

We are a charitable organisation started by a small group of passionate parents of children with cerebral palsy in hopes of improving the services and opportunities available to families affected by cerebral palsy and living in Cairns and Far North Queensland. The aim of the group is to provide support, understanding, a shoulder to lean on and information and resources.

Tableland Autism Support Group
Tablelands ASD Parent Support Group is a support group with the aim to provide peer support opportunities for parents and carers of children on the spectrum (with or without a diagnosis) across the Tablelands community.

FNQ Accessible Housing Dreams & SDA
A caring, sharing space to help each other achieve the dreams for those with a disability to have a home in Cairns, or surrounds, suitable for their specific needs, to live their lives as independently as their disability allows them.

Cairns Fluency Support Group
For Adults Who Stutter.
Find support in a positive and encouraging environment. Meetings second and fourth Thursday of each month. No membership fee.

Rare Friends Far North Queensland
Rare Friends is a community of supporters for Far North Queenslanders affected by rare conditions.  They also have an annual fun run/walk day on the esplanade.  

 

Innisfail Special Needs Parents and Carers Support and Resources
This group has been set up to provide local support, encouragement, ideas, resources and networking for parents and carers of kids with additional needs in the Innisfail area.

Weipa CapeAbility provides empathy, friendships and being understanding of people in a positive and safe environment. Weipa CapeAbility is a non-profit organization run by a group of volunteer parents who meet to have FUN.
