Vaiana Care Pty Ltd is an Healthy Aged Care and Disability Support Service that is locally family owned and operated.
We are very new and have extreme knowledge and experience in this industry and a vast involvement of local community.
We partner with disabled people, their families, and whanau to enable them to have choice and control in their lives. We also work with communities, family members, friends, educators, health providers, social services, businesses, employers, councils, Government, community agencies, community groups and the public to identify and remove barriers that prevent people from achieving their everyday goals. If you or someone you love, young or elderly and needs help and support in their own home, then we feel you have made the right choice with Vaiana Care.

Our services include:
• Providing independence support: we accept after-hours referrals and can arrange prompt support for your client.
• Support to return to independence: we work alongside clients to develop person-centered service plans that identify their rehabilitation goals and aspirations.
• We can meet with you to learn about your goals, dreams and what you need to live well.

Vaiana Care’s Healthy Ageing Supports helps our Polynesian and Multicultural matua (older people) stay connected with their communities, and encourages them to lead active, healthy lives.

Vaiana care can provide your everyday support whether you need assistance at home or assistance going to do shopping. Vaiana Care can also connect you to community groups and activities to ensure you are actively involved to build new friendships, stay engaged and to live on a healthy life. More importantly, we encourage you to stay connected with friends and family. Not only do we aim to change as little about your daily life as possible, but we aim to make it even better.

Social Connection
Social connection are the social ties that we have with other people. It is a broad term that includes things like getting together with others, having others we can rely on for support, or feeling that we belong and are valued. We can experience these cultural types of social connection with family and friends, in our workplaces and neighbourhoods, or as members of a group or club.

Would you like more company?
If you are feeling lonely, or would just like more social contact, it is important to do something about it, and Vaiana Care can assist you. We, at Vaiana Care, will connect with services that provide regular visits to older people who would like more company. Our Support workers are keen to spend time with an older person for about an hour each week to enjoy conversation and shared interests and activities.
