We are a community of people who support each other in our recovery goals. Tivanee is a social worker who holds registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). She is passionate about taking therapy outside a clinical setting and reducing barriers to services.

Tivanee listens to her client’s need and preferences and provides counselling in a safe, non-judgmental space. Trained in Sandplay Therapy and Outdoor Therapy, her approaches allow opportunity for clients to explore feelings and experiences often inaccessible or difficult to express in words. She can offer practical techniques to help people improve overall health and wellbeing, cope and manage their day-to-day, and support their journey of healing and growth.

Nurse Next Door Cairns is an NDIS registered provider specialising in high-intensity and complex disability supports delivered under strict nursing oversight and clinical governance.

All supports are delivered within a robust clinical framework, with registered nurse oversight embedded into day-to-day service delivery. We offer a variety of health services which can support your health and wellness needs. We offer a broad range of services, both clinical and non-clinical. Services include:

We will help our clients to live the life they choose, providing support to remain as independent as possible including education and skills development. It is our passion to walk the journey with our clients on their path to wellness, ensuring our clients and their loved ones are at the forefront of care. We are understanding, thoughtful and respectful in all our interactions, and encourage our clients and their loved ones to provide us with feedback which helps us to enhance our services.

Our founder has over 15 year's experience in the healthcare sector and in leadership and business management roles. Ensuring we operate within set guidelines and legislation is vital, and we pride ourselves on our internal review and auditing processes to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.

We are a mobile service and deliver care in the clients home and in community. We also offer telehealth where this is appropriate. We services most areas in the Cairns, Tablelands, Douglas/Mossman and Cassowary Coast area however, travel time and kms may apply as per the SCHADS award.
