Free online medical consultations are available
Having trouble getting an appointment with your GP? Telehealth Doctor NQ is a free service to eligible people.
When you can’t get to a doctor or your doctor’s clinic is closed or has a long wait list, Telehealth Doctor NQ connects you with a registered Australian Doctor for a real-time, video consultation in your home, aged care facility or participating pharmacy.
In rural, regional and remote North Queensland, Telehealth Doctor NQ is helping overcome the barriers of distance and isolation to help deliver better health outcomes. Patients referred by their regular GP to a participating pharmacy can be seen during regular clinic hours.
