We are also a registered NDIS provider of Therapeutic supports in the Cairns region.
We have four Psychologists currently on staff (two are currently completing their provisional registration internships) 3 female Clinicians and 1 Male Clinician. Searchlight Psychology is Certified with the NDIS and as such we are registered for three categories (two high risk) under Capacity Building - Therapeutic Supports, Early Childhood Intervention Services (under 7’s) and Improved Relationships (PBSP).
We have three group programs available as follows
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for complex psychosocial mental health presentations. (18ys+)
PEERS Adolescent and Young Adult Program– evidence based social skills program for 13-18 yrs. 18-30 yrs. We are currently receiving expressions of interest for this.
Lego Club – Social skills program for 7/8-12 yrs
We provide individual therapy from early childhood to late adulthood.
We provide comprehensive Psychological Assessment from early childhood onwards for Autism, Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Intellectual Disability, SILS assessments, complex psychological disorders, and psychosocial disability.
We provide Positive Behaviour Support Planning, training and implementation.
