Located on the iconic and accessible Cairns Esplanade, the Spinal Life Healthy Living Centre is dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of people with spinal cord damage and other physical disabilities. We are Cairns’ first and only fully accessible short term and Holiday Accommodation provider.
Everything about the Centre has been built to be fully accessible for wheelchair and mobility device users, from the accommodation to the Active Gym, hydrotherapy pool, Café, and Community Rooms.
Spinal Life Australia was born to make real and tangible differences in the lives of people living with a physical disability. Whether that’s through critical personal support services, allied health, advocacy at an individual and national level, or support via our Peer Support team. We are a committed team of support workers, allied health professionals; including people with lived experience, striving to change the way disability is perceived, while also advocating for a fairer Australia.
With more than 60 years of experience, the organisation works in partnership with clients to assist them to achieve their goals and live independently.
