Our team at Truworth Care respects and actively listens to every individual's story and experience. It is important for us to build trust and focus on the participants' strengths and provide them with the knowledge as an NDIS Registered Provider run by the locals for the locals.
Our 15 years of experience, skills and attributes in the industry will help us guide the participant on their journey with empathy and care using their network. Our experience has taught us to be emotionally resilient and passionate about advocating for disability rights, ensuring that everyone has the chance to live independently within their community. We believe Truworth Care experience in the Disability Sector, Aged Care and health settings is unique and truly remarkable.
Our qualifications and skills range from:
Registered Nurses to deal with complex care needs.
Qualified Diabetes Educator to provide diabetes management to participants.
We understand complex care and customers' needs considering having worked in the Rehabilitation, Acute Stroke and Neurology unit.
We understand people living with dementia, mental health issues and behaviours of concerns. We are always there to assess and respond by treating them with respect as individuals. In addition, we are certified in training and assessment and WHS to enhance the quality of training. Our staff are supported through the journey to provide individualised high-quality support to participants.

Valiant Hands is a private disability service that specialises in caring for Disabled clients, in particular those with high needs.
We take on the challenge that others won't!
We Provide care all the way from Gordonvale through to the beaches of Palm Cove.
I have seen the need for consistent and genuine care in Cairns is lacking. The staff turnover is high. I have spoken to many parents who have already gone through 25 carers within a year, which to me is insane! I have had the same 3 carers since my boy was 1, he is now 4. I imagine as a support coordinator this is also frustrating as it falls on them to supply the care, and provide these supports. My goal is to close this gap, to provide consistent care, to provide workers who have a genuine and authentic approach to their clients and their families.I want to fix the issue of turnover, and the issue of untrained and uneducated staff.
A bit of background info on myself...
I understand the struggles parents face, being a mother of 3 myself, one of which with High needs (cerebral Palsy).
I understand the hardships, strain on relationships and the dark places you go when you feel there is no help, which is exactly why I started this business to help those most in need. I've lost jobs because of the lack of care, A relationship breakdown, been at the lowest point you could think. Without the carers I have today I honestly don't think I would have coped or come as far as I have in the last 2 years.
I also know trusting someone to care for your kids is massive and being picky is definitely what I was when it came to care for my kids, in particular my son. I know how difficult it is to gain a parents trust and to provide care that's going to meet their needs and make them feel safe and secure. 🥰
