Mi Start is a mobile, support coordination service for participants of the NDIS who are Plan Managed and Self-Managed in the Cairns and Surrounding areas.
Mi Start offers Level 1, 2 and 3 Support Coordination and Recovery Coach supports.
Mi Start is provided by an independent Support Coordinator, Liz Barbara.
Mi Start will assist you to understand your NDIS Plan, manage your budget and connect with services to meet your needs and assists with Plan Reviews, Home and Living Applications and Change of Situations etc.
Liz Barbara has a Bachelor of Arts (in disability, psychology and business); Graduate Bachelor of Education and Early Childhood and a Postgraduate Certificate in Child Protection Practice.
Liz Barbara has worked as a Teacher for over 10 years; an Autism Advisor (at Autism Qld) for the Helping Children with Autism Funding for over 9 years and a Support Coordinator in Cairns for approximately 4 years. Liz has extensive experience working with children and families, young adults; as well as adults of all ages with ASD, physical and cognitive impairments and other needs.
