New Day All Abilities Support Service is a multi-faceted business model to see strong foundational relationships created, to support consistency and inclusion for my clients, as I work collaboratively with their Occupational Therapist and Educational Service.
With over 25 years working in the Early Childhood and Education sector, and holding a Diploma of Early Childhood and Education, I have expanded my knowledge and qualifications.
I aim to provide support to children and adults, in both an Independent Support Worker role, and Allied Health Assistant role specialising in Occupational Therapy.
By working alongside your Occupational Therapist, and having capacity to travel to the client if need be, I am able to support clients by implementing their OT's sessions (within my scope of practice).
The goal is to see more consistent and frequent access to their planned sessions and the clients achieve their goals.
Within the Independent Support role, I can offer Community Access and social support, transport to and from appointments and outings, home duties support and help with cooking.
I really enjoy hiking, fishing, photography, and exploring the beach. I am passionate about seeing people end their day with a smile, and feeling fulfilled.
I am also offering my services to Early Childhood and Education settings to provide individualised support and guidance, on the implementation of Occupational Therapist recommendations and strategies.
Early Intervention is a passion of mine being the mother of a neurodiverse child and seeing his struggles.
This collaborative partnership not only benefits the children and inclusivity within the setting, but will help the Early Childhood and Education Service provide evidence of meeting the National Quality Framework and providing Assessment and Rating evidence.
