AUDiOHEALTH is proudly a family owned and operated practice with three generations of involvement in hearing healthcare and "thousands of ears" of experience enabling us to deliver exceptional results.
Our main clinics are located in Cairns, Smithfield and Atherton. Our visiting sites are Innisfail and Mareeba.
Our goal is to provide the best hearing solution to suit your individual needs and lifestyle.
Recent research indicates a link between untreated hearing loss, cognitive decline, overload on the brain and more prevalence to falls.
Hearing is one of our most important senses, enabling us to connect to the world, to our environment and to people. While many of us take it for granted, a person suffering hearing loss knows the true value of this precious sense.
According to the Federal Department of Health, one in six Australians experience some form of hearing loss.
The good news is help is easily available.
We are an independent third generation family practice, locally owned with a team of experienced caring clinicians. Our clinicians are dedicated to helping you understand your hearing loss and ensuring you have the best solution to suit your individual needs at an affordable price. Not being owned or aligned to a particular manufacturer ensures choice to patients.

Far North Support Alarms provide assistive technology solutions to help people stay connected with the community for longer, providing peace of mind for the alarm user and their family. In the event of an emergency, the alarm provides a way to contact emergency services from anywhere in the home or garden with just a press of a button.
The alarms deliver a service that provides up to 40 hours’ battery backup in the event of a power outage. Each alarm is supplied with a pendant that can be worn on the wrist or around the neck, allowing the user to activate an alarm call from anywhere in the home, without having to struggle to reach a phone.
How it works
When the alarm is activated via the pendant or the central alarm unit, it contacts a 24/7 monitoring centre, putting the user in contact with a trained care consultant who will aid the user by carrying out their direct request or assessing the situation and determining what action needs to be taken; such as contacting a family member or friend, after-hours doctor, or emergency services. Our care consultant will stay on the line until help arrives.
Who is it for?
Far North Support Alarms assists people to maintain their independence and safety in the home. A variety of users can benefit including:
✓ Elderly people
✓ People living alone
✓ People living rural
✓ People living with a disability
