Live Learn Laugh Disability Support (LLLDS) is a sister to Cairns Training Academy.
LLLDS originated from two streams of conception. Firstly, Di Payne’s (Owner) vision of Disability Empowering Disability and DSW feedback reflecting very little opportunity for networking with other DSW’s.
Bringing the two concepts together has evolved into a casual “Drop-in” session for BOTH the Participant and their DSW where they can socialise, make new friends and share experiences. Music, activity/craft tables, stroll in the garden & say hello to Daffy the Duck.
Location:
Di’s daughter Sally, facilitates the session with support from her DSW at her home in Bayview Hts. The bathroom isn’t wheelchair friendly but do come check us out.
Time:
10.30 - 1.00 every 2nd & 3rd Friday of each month except during school holidays.
Includes:
tea, coffee, and biscuits on arrival
make a sandwich with fillings provided or BYO if have dietary needs.

Cost:
Participants $20 cash on day (casual basis, no lock in agreements)
DSW $10 cash on day
To clarify:
No support is provided by LLLDS for the Drop-in sessions, participants are to bring their own DSW.
This is a small group, hence attendees to email LLLDS prior to the day to book their spot.
