I'm Nicola Maxwell and I'm the founder of Yoga First Cairns. A dedicated Yoga practitioner and Zen student. I am registered with Yoga Alliance as an ERYT 500 (experienced registered Yoga Teacher) and a YACEP (Yoga Alliance Registered Continuing Education Provider), I am also a fully qualified Kids and Teens Yoga Teacher. With over 25 years of supporting women and children, she brings her knowledge and expertise from the education and counselling industry to truly understanding the intricacies and complexities of families. Tosca has supported youth, children, and adults.
Tosca’s holds a Masters of Guidance and Counselling and Bachelor of Education. She is trained as an expressive therapist, somatic therapist, Intuitive Intelligence Teacher, yoga and meditation teacher and in tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique).

My area of speciality is neurodiversity and ASD, but I’ve supported people with a variety of disabilities.

Physiotherapy clinic and studio opened in Mareeba in 2019 by musculoskeletal physiotherapist Dean Mineall.
Services include physiotherapy, rehabilitation and functional mobility, posture and gait analysis, pilates, barre and yoga classes.

Hello, my name is May from Pure Joy Naturopathy, practising Naturopathy, Chair Yoga and Reiki & Ayurvedic massage.
Teaching Chair Yoga has become one of my passions because I’ve gone through some difficulties practising yoga on the mat. When I tried chair yoga for the first time, I thought it was a great yoga style for people who are not able to do mainstream styles of yoga.
The chair yoga class is a gentle and meditative activity. It is excellent for seniors, or for people who have limited mobility.
The breathing technique will assist in easing anxiety. Taking good care of our mental health is as vital as looking after our physical health to become more resilient and adapt to a new environment.
Join me through a calming chair yoga practice. Please encourage your elderly friends or family members to join! I am very confident that gentle chair yoga will help all participants both mentally and physically.
